Wendy Arondal took part in the “My Thesis in 180 seconds” (MT180), a science communication competition in which PhD candidates present their research in just three minutes in a clear and engaging way for a general audience. She was awarded the High School Students’ Prize, recognizing her ability to make complex research accessible and compelling. Her presentation focused on: “Therapeutic modulation of non-coding RNAs in proliferative diseases: applications in lung cancer and renal fibrosis".
March 11th, 2026 - Elodie Rodzinski's PhD Defense
Elodie Rodzinski successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Sensarcome: targeting radiation-induced senescence to prevent secondary post-radiotherapy sarcomas.” Under the supervision of Pr Corinne Abbadie, her research focused on understanding the mechanisms involved in radiation-induced cellular senescence and exploring innovative therapeutic strategies to prevent the development of secondary sarcomas following radiotherapy.
